Noob. SRP performance kit brake calibration

What is the ideal setup: less pedal travel with an easier path to 100%, or more travel where reaching 100% requires significant effort?

I just installed my performance kit and the guide suggests a "blind" calibration: close your eyes and press the pedal to where you want 100% to be. However, when I try this in Pit House, the calibration seems to fail if the pedal isn't bottomed out.

Should I be adjusting the calibration curve in the software instead?

Should I remove the original spring to make the pedal softer?

Or should I just adapt to the fact that a load-cell-style kit makes reaching 100% intentionally difficult for better trail braking?

No more green screens after repaste

After 3 years of intermittent green screens on my build, I finally found the culprit. I had already upgraded CPU cooling and swapped a 750W PSU for 1kW, but nothing helped until I checked my GPU hot spot.

It was hitting 109°C. I repasted my ASRock 6950 XT with Arctic MX-7, and the hot spot dropped to 88°C. No more green screens since.
