A couple months ago when I was walking around in my city, I saw a bunch of crows, they were all raising the alarm because a hawk was also flying around, and they were hanging out in trees near this large parking lot. I bought them some trail mix from a vending machine. They seemed satisfied. I recently saw the post about avoiding salt, so I'll try to bring something more suitable next time I'm around there just in case I see them again.

They are so pretty up close. This video was with my phone but I hope I encounter them with a better camera on me.

I recently got a UV flashlight (Convoy S12+ 365nm with ZWB2 filter if anyone is curious).

I wanted to try it out with some light painting so I went to the Bisti wilderness area which is in NM. These are edited somewhat in LR, with sky masks to make the white balance a little more pleasing, some tweaks to sliders as well.

Manual focusing was a bit hard even with another flashlight to light the scene. I tried some with wide open aperture and some closed down a little.

I want to try some more expansive scenes but will need to do composites as it's hard to light paint a large scene quickly.
