Asterisks not working on Reddit app (IOS)

About a week or two ago asterisks randomly stopped making text italicized on the app for me. Any time I try to use italics, it just looks *like this*. I also noticed that trying to make a bulleted list using the same method doesn’t work. App is up to date.

Apartment dwellers or other people without yards, this is your cue to try out Sniffspot

I stumbled upon an app called Sniffspot where you can literally rent somebody’s yard for your dog to run and around play in. The app is admittedly a little pricey but your first 10 credits are free!

Katie loves to sunbathe and run around but we live in an apartment, so today we rented our first Sniffspot. These pictures are the before and after her playtime.
