Just picked up my first fountain pen and it’s a Lamy Safari Fountain Pen. I noticed a small divot/indent on the grip section right next to the threads by the O-ring.

It doesn’t affect threading or sealing I don’t think, but it’s noticeable and you can feel it slightly with a fingernail.

For those who have multiple Safaris, is this within normal injection molding variation, or would you consider it a QC defect? Would you keep it or exchange it? Any help is much appreciated!
