For reference I'm an Arch user who's making the consideration to switch to fedora, but how does it stack up in comparison to Arch's security and privacy?

I'm quite new to linux in general and have been loving Arch to bits but one thing that remains persistent with the rolling release OS is how much responsibility you dedicate to maintain the thing and I hear people mention fedora as an alternative because it just "works", and it makes me want to switch but I dislike how fedora is funded by large companies, making me think it will affect the minimalism and security and privacy that im used to with arch.
Hi,
I currently use ProtonVPN and it's amazing, much better than my previous provider, however, when the topic of best VPN comes up, next to Proton is usually Mullvad and after doing research the only difference I can find is that Mullvad is entirely anonymous.
But beyond that is there a real difference? I can't seem to find anything.
Everyone needs to settle this once and for all (I also need to pick what distro to settle on and this will help me)
