Hi! My mom and I are planning a trip to Hokkaido because she loves flowers and nature. We’ll be there May 30-June 6; first 4 days in Asahikawa then we transfer to Sapporo for the rest of our stay.

With this, I wanted to ask the best place to stay in Sapporo - near Sapporo station or Odori park?

Also, we have a tentative itinerary for both Asahikawa and Sapporo but any suggestions (including restaurants) are very welcome!

Ps: we already went to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto so my mom wanted to try Hokkaido for more nature and another Japan experience :)
