What Makes Wes a Great Red Ranger to You? He's Second for Me, Only Behind Jack for My Number One

What Makes Wes a Great Red Ranger to You? He's Second for Me, Only Behind Jack for My Number One

I loved Wes' character, he wasn't played like a spoiled rich kid, more that he was someone with wealth thrust upon him but he always wanted to be more than his money. To do more. I always admired that about his character, and, he was very likable with a lot of heart.

Refreshed Myself With Lightspeed Rescue! How Does It Hold Up for You?

I hadn't seen any episodes of this season in a long time, I needed a refresh. Lightspeed was a part of my childhood in a lot of ways. I had an action figure of Dana as Pink Ranger, and, when my dad would take my sister and I to our old video rental store around the block from where we lived, I always remember Lightspeed and Time Force VHS' there and how the covers stood out to me. And, of course, the suit designs for both series!

So, I recently binged it over a few days and I gotta say, I still really enjoy it and maintain it's a slept on series. The standout Rangers I enjoyed the most were Carter, Dana and Kelsey. It's so cool this series had the first ever American created Ranger in Ryan the Titanium Ranger. Upon rewatch,I definitely place it in my top five! I wish it was talked about more, there is some really great stuff in here. The Titanium Ranger arc being a key standout for me, it got a lot darker than I was expecting in a bunch of episodes, and, I really applaud Lightspeed for doing that. It felt like it had a good balance throughout of the childhood camp that comes with Power Rangers while also having themes a 29 year old like myself can appreciate. It doesn't top my top tier picks which are Time Force and SPD, however, it definitely deserves a place at the top of my list.
