Applied for a job on indeed

Is this a scam?

Applied for a job on indeed for this company called EIDLexit on indeed as an SDR here’s the description

A Day in the Life Morning: Prioritize and respond to your inbound leads. Confirm upcoming consultations and brief the ERC team members. Midday: Work your pipeline by qualifying new leads, schedule consultations, and pre-handle objections. As you progress, a dedicated portion of your day will transition to running your own appointments and closing deals.

Afternoon: Retarget untapped leads, follow up on no-shows, push for rebooks. Update HubSpot. Finish the day with a clean pipeline and a plan for tomorrow.

Training & Advancement Three weeks of dedicated, paid training on our services, CRM systems, and selling methodology before you take a live lead (can be fast-tracked). SDRs who consistently hit KPIs become eligible for promotion to ERC (typically within three to six months).

Compensation Base salary plus commission. On-target earnings: $57,420 – $64,980 per year depending on performance. ERC-level compensation is a significant step up—high-performing ERCs earn well above the SDR range.

Paid training from Day 1 Paid time off plus company holidays Clear promotion path with increasing compensation at every level

Then a week later I got an email saying this

Congratulations on moving past our initial screening for the Sales Development Representative position with EIDLexit!

The next step is a brief video assessment. Since this role involves meeting with prospective clients by video conference, we’d like to get a sense of your on-camera presence.

You’ll receive a separate email with a secure link to Wedge where you'll record some information about yourself. That message will include everything you need to get started.

If you have any issues accessing the video interview once the link arrives, feel free to reply to this email.

Looking forward to seeing your video.

Respectfully,

Company name is EIDLexit

Minor things at daycare

(I was also kind of bad at this job so don’t take things for granted because I was finding my niche)

The toddler room is actually pretty nice, helpful, and everyone does their part.

But the preschool rooms,well….

Here are the many things that rubbed me the wrong way when working here:

Got told that I can’t leave kids behind in a “room” (there are no doors), I had to watch another kid use the bathroom (it was a few seconds). Then a few days later a teacher left lots of kids for a similar time to go set up beds

Got told that beds cannot be touching (it slipped out and touched another bed my mistake) then later a teacher moved a bed with her foot

Sometimes there’s no one in the office so the teacher have to take over that job

Got yelled at because I told a kid to stay in their spot, then the week after the teacher told the kid to stay in their spot

Cannot use the word “bro” but a teacher said “oh my god”

Will get pinned on doing all of the heavy tasks sometimes (like scrubbing doors) I encouraged a kid to eat his rice got yelled at him to leave him alone by a teacher, then another teacher helped him eat and the teacher who yelled at me didn’t say anything

Sometimes a teacher encourages kids to hurry up and finish their snack to go to “class” which is playing with legos

Teachers were having a conversation while a child was waiting to have their diaper taken off (the child started taking it off themselves)

When someone makes an accident their clothes get put in a hamper in the front (it can be forgotten for up to a week)

If you call out sick sometimes a response would be “that’s not good we need more workers”

It’s nothing major tho…

If you are looking for a job in Yorktown….

(I was also kind of bad at this job so don’t take things for granted because I was finding my niche)

Anyways the place is called “The Seed Daycare Center” in Yorktown heights

The toddler room is actually pretty nice, helpful, and everyone does their part.

But the preschool rooms,well….

Overall if you are looking to work at daycare avoid this place or ask to be in the toddler room
