Is this a respiratory infection?

This is balfire I rescued him around a 1.5 years ago so I am unsure of his age but he's around 7-8 I took him out for only 10 minutes yesterday and today he's making a sort of hissing noise and keeps opening his mouth I'm worried and wanted advice of what to do pls if anyone can give me answers it would be much appreciated 💛🧡
