I’ve been playing Overwatch since 2019 and have always maintained a Level 3 Endorsement or higher, consistently reaching and holding Level 5 for the past six months. I’m a university student who participates in competitive tournaments, so my account standing is very important to me. Recently, I’ve been hit with a season-long ban due to a technical error that I can prove is server-side, but support is stuck in a loop.
- New to Season 2: This problem never occurred in previous seasons.
- Mode Specific: It only happens in Competitive Play. Quick Play, Arcade, and other modes work perfectly fine without a single crash or disconnect.
- The Proof: I have a screenshot and video showing that while the system log says I "left the match," I am still connected to the server and actively typing in the match chat.

I have opened several tickets (EU104391992, EU104407926, EU104428516, EU104439640). In the replies, Game Masters explicitly said:
- "The disconnection is out of the player’s hands like in your case."
- "I understand this was not your fault."
Despite these admissions, they claim they cannot lift the ban because the "automated system" cannot be overridden.
Has anyone else experienced a bug that only triggers in Competitive Play? Is there any way to get this escalated to a human who can actually look at the server logs instead of sending automated scripts?
