is the rent price flexible for new lease?
I toured a place this week in Manhattan and the broker basically said the rent is firm because there’s already a lot of interest
I didn’t push back at all because I had no idea what to even say in that situation
but tbh I’m wondering if I just left money on the table by not trying to negotiate
Has anyone pushed back on something like that recently and gotten anywhere? Orr forget it with the competition?
