Zoe reluctantly accepted the hat, which shows in her eyes.

Zara flat out refused and asked for brushing.

For 16 years, they've been my best friends, my loving little angels, my couch straight jackets, my reasons for living. They've moved to Mexico with me, and back. They're 2 of the small number of creatures I love unconditionally.

I'm so grateful to have them in my life, and have no idea how I'd survive without them. To many more birthdays to come! 😻
