Need some help getting home
Hello, Reddit!
Normally I'm not one to ask for help, but honestly I'm in a situation where it may be necessary. I was attempting to immigrate to Canada with the help of my spouse, but things did not go as planned (rising costs of EVERYTHING these days just sucks)... so I need to go back home, as my visitor visa will run out long before we can get the money.
It's no one's fault and I bear no ill will, but coming up with the funds to even get me home (we'd be using a truck, which we all know are infamous for being gas hogs) is a lot. We've raised a little bit so far, but nowhere near what we need. I'm hoping that someone, somewhere, may see this and help me get back to my home area.
I already have a job lined up, but I really could use some funds to make sure I'm situated until then. Even a couple dollars would go a long way. I thank you for reading and genuinely wish you all a good day. ❤️
