No, I do not think she survived, at least not right now.
As far according to the show, I accept that shes dead, even when her death was very sudden and kinda disappointing cause I was kinda looking forward to her character and what she might turn out
But, just cause I accept shes dead, doesn’t mean I can’t see ways to bring her back.
Yes, it’s confirmed by the voice actor that She got her lungs pulled out from the mouth by Vader, that is by definition being absolutely killed.
But if you know Star Wars, you know that people can survive from this by cybernetic operations.
It’s never said she got stabbed or her neck got snapped, only her lungs got pulled out.
If I have a theory or downright headcanon: somehow in one way or another, she has her lungs fixed up and replaced by cybernetics, which causes her to speak differently and why she fights and uses her jet pack far less, and might lead her becoming the armorer based on some theory.
Sort of a reverse Darth Vader arc here.
Maybe a reason for her survival might be someone from the empire wanting her still alive for intel about mauls whereabouts, someone who used to fight on her side(garr saxxon).
But again, take all of this as a big pile of salt.
And, I am already expecting some people arguing that they are sick of characters fake dying and suddenly returning, and honestly I can agree that we should let some characters stay dead, especially if they are killed by DARTH VADER of all people.
Tho, I am somewhat fine with it as long it is supposed to connect with a character we already know.
But in the end of the day, according to The show, her status will remain as deceased.
And in a way, there are some indications that
her character might be permanently dead(unfortunately), considering it was confirmed that the producers literally asked rooks Actor how she wants her character to die.
Probably meaning they had no further plans with her character and don’t have any idea on how they want to align her fate to something else in the future if they didn’t even know how her fate should be.
So, again, this post isn’t about theorizing if shes still alive With what ever Copium there’s still left of me, this is just a theory on how they „could“ bring her back.
But if she remains dead, than so be it, and I’m willing to accept that.

Despite being incredibly minor, Darth atroxa honestly looks like a good modernized version to Talon.
So honestly, it they want to make Devon become Darth talon, but don’t want to sexualize her, I think that’s the best route to go imo

Since King K. Rool had his triumphant return in bananza , let’s hope captain syrup gets the same treatment.
Also This isn’t necessarily saying that they are closely connected or anything, it’s all definitely just a fun coincidence.
But they do have more in common than you’d think.
Not to say there aren’t probably more differences.
And I’m just saying that cause I know many will bring it up anyways.
Cause oddly some people are being overly negative whenever people mention a Lesser known character like Captain syrup, and i just don’t know what they event trying to achieve by trying to burst peoples bubbles for hoping or liking a character.
And it’s the whole “shes too niche” type arguments all over again, and say stuff like “no one cares about this character”(which isn’t exactly true for syrup) or “dont get your hopes up”, like jeez I get it.
Either way, i don’t see anything wrong with bringing more attention to characters you think deserve more recognition, even when chances are low.
I mean, I know my posts won’t change the grander scheme of things for Nintendo, but I can at least try to give characters more attention and recognition cause I think they deserve better than just being forgotten.
Same way how people used to have thought about King k. Rool at first.

Both Pirate related antagonists who were the original first rival characters of their own game series (DK and Wario) and had a decently lasting back and forth rivalry with the main characters, but ultimately became forgotten for over a decade in their own series after 2007-8 (odd coincidence but I digress).
But eventually(at least for King K. Rool) he made his triumphant come back in smash bros and finally in the donkey Kong series again in 2025.
While the chances are incredibly low for syrup, especially that she and the Wario series isn’t nearly as popular as King K. rool and the Dk series.
Here’s hoping that Nintendo will finally acknowledge her and give her and the series a major come back.
She deserves the same treatment
given that there has been some recent re-releases for Wario games on the Switch 2 and some alleged rumors for a potentially upcoming Wario land or world game.
Who knows… (but again this is highly speculative)
Does Nintendo just Like Putting their Mario universe Main big Bads of their game series in a flying round-ish hovercraft at one point in time? (And often their kinda Pirate related)
Or is sit just coincidence their all pulling the eggman.
What ever the case, it is kinda funny.
Tho I guess it also “kinda” gives some connection between the 3 main antagonists and their significance and status to their own game series, which is Mario, Wario and DK Games.
But it’s definitely nothing too deep

Ever since I’ve heard about the character 3 years ago, I became fascinated about her and the Wario games (as someone who already liked Wario before that), and it still blows my mind how she hasn’t been seen for 18 years since her last in game appearance.
It’s honestly quite a bummer cause she has so much potential being part of the main Mario games.
She would have made a good anti peach and Wario female counterpart, or(given the current state) she would make a fitting third members of the Wario and Walluigi trio, perhaps even a love interest to one of them.
Either way, I made this Reddit account so to give her some well needed attention, and maybe even some other obscure characters as well
