Saw Crown Royal Chocolate listed at a Calgary liquor site and honestly got curious. Is it actually good or too sweet/artificial? Thinking of gifting it.

I used to see The Famous Grouse everywhere a few years ago but somehow stopped buying blends for a while.

Saw it listed again online recently and now I’m wondering — is it still considered a solid cheap everyday pour, or have better options taken over in that price range?

Would you still pick it over Ballantine’s / JW Red?
