Help with Bass shaker setup
Hi everyone, I just bought a dayton 50 W 4 ohm bass shaker and I’m a little confused about what power amp I need to get and was looking for some help. Can the amp be more than 50 W? And is the 4 ohms the important part to make sure I don’t short something or get electrocuted? (I thought I understood, but someone on tech support told me I could get electrocuted if I get it wrong but also didnt know the answer so I figured I would ask here)
I’m looking for an amp on facebook marketplace if possible so want to figure out the max (or range?) of watts it should have. Also if it helps I am planning to play the sound from my computer and listen with headphones because I live in an apartment!
Any help would be reallyyy appreciated, they seem to be discussed alot but I can’t find info on powering just 1 single shaker. Thanks!
