Best bars to watch the Knicks? (& to make new friends)

Looking for some good bars uptown to watch the playoffs with my bf. We don't have many friends uptown, so we're also interested in finding friends to hang and talk shit with. We're easygoing, artistic, and have socialist + anti-zionist politics. (I'm not that into sports, but I'm a supportive gf lol). Let's hang!!!

EDIT: Sooo thrilled that so many people are interested in this book club + making friends!!! I'm going to start a group chat and get things going. If you want to join, send me a DM <333

Hi! I’ve lived in East Harlem for almost six years and have struggled to make friends with people who live above 100th street. In an effort to meet people, I’m hoping to start or join a book club for uptowners who enjoy reading literary fiction, nonfiction, poetry, etc.

Some authors I like: Jamaica Kincaid, Sheila Heti, Elena Ferrante, Toni Morrison, Susie Boyt, etc

A little about me: I’m a 29 y.o. Black woman. I enjoy biking, reading, and going on long walks. My ideal hang is an evening in with yummy food and a nice conversation. I have a boyfriend and a dog. I like to go out to the bars once every blue moon, but mostly I’m a homebody just looking for fellow homebodies to hang with.

(I have a very casual book club with 2 other women, but we’ve only met once so far. Maybe we could add more people to ours? Also, down to join another club too!)
