I’ve had Gastroparesis for 4 years and no one has treated it

Ello peeps. when I was 16 I got a gastric emptying study due to GI issues and MALS pain. It came back as me having gastroparesis (4 hrs 70% emptying). although it came back positive I’ve not had a GI treat me for it, the second they find out I have POTS they say it’s that and dismiss it. My POTS doc says it’s gastroparesis and to see a GI. I don’t even know what to do anymore. I’ve been trying to find a GI to believe me and help but they never do. What should I do? I’ve never been told tips or meds to help symptoms, I’ve just been trying to deal with it on my own. I can never gain weight anymore and I go through extreme periods of pain from it and I just try to treat it like my chronic pain. Does anyone have any tips? trying to find a new GI again

Asking Doc about dysphagia

Ello Reddit peeps this is one of my first posts. I see my specialist next month and I need tips on what to discuss with him. I (20F) am chronically ill and have many neurological and coordination disorders. I have had chronic GURD since birth and have been on Pepcid for 10 years with little improvement (none of my docs believe that enough to switch my prescription or do anything else). I’ve had trouble swallowing and drinking my whole life. I choke on water often and have to clear my throat whenever I eat constantly. In the past 6 months whenever I choke on a drink (multiple times a week) I start gaging and sometimes puke along with choking. Food is also getting harder to swallow, I can feel it tight all the way down to my stomach. And sometimes it’s just hard to swallow and I feel it all the way down just swallowing my spit.  Is there any testing I should get from my specialist? Is this dysphagia?
