now we can all agree that in the past, some reproduction may have happened through forced or dominant encounters.
and i think people who resisted strongly might have been harmed or killed, while those who were more passive or compliant might have been more likely to survive and reproduce.
Over many generations, that could favor traits that make someone more tolerant of, or even psychologically receptive to, domination.
and these traits show up today as kinks like submission or humiliation.
