Leatherman Wave Plus With Rebar Pliers & Other Mods
My Wave Plus with a few mods…
Hammer Mod
T-shank adapter. Replaces original saw.
Titanium pick. Stored in slot where hidden lanyard ring used to be.
Rebar pliers. Just added today.
For better plier fitment, all I did was grind the small raised tabs in the handles with my dremel, and they fit near perfect. Didn’t have to touch anything else. There is a little bit of rubbing against the can opener, but that’s about it. Nothing’s keeping the handles from closing all the way.
Oh yeah, I did use a shim between the bit-holder and can opener when I 1st installed the hammer mod. That probably helped provide a little more clearance on that side.
