so i have a relationship with my bf thats like 9 months old we have problems we are trying to overcome this is also my first relationship and no we havent had any "real" sex yet and thats my fault both of us are the same age met through mutual friends, both in our early twenties,

anyway i recently realized that i really am not serious about this relationship which is weird bec i was the one who asked him out which is why a big part of our problems are happening right now that i am not putting in effort, which lead to my friend asking what are my expectations from a relationship anyway like what do i want why am i in this relationship,

but i dont really know? i went into this relationship thinking "man i like this guy he is cool nice kind hardworking, i dont really expect this relationship to last longer than 2 years (building realistic expectations) and thats fine the experience i will get from this will be worth while"

but idk what i want from this relationship, i have been trying to put in more effort bec he told me in a big text that he wants me to bec he does like me and that he doesnt know why i like him in the first place ect but still

what should i want or expect from this relationship?
