Anybody notice how dry Middle Run - White Clay tributary - has gotten?

I don't think I've ever seen it this low before. You can see where the stream bank ends pretty clearly here. Last year I saw a beaver swimming down this spot and now it looks barely deep enough for fish. I understand that we're in a drought, yes, I'm just wondering if others have noticed and if the park authorities have said anything about it being seemingly unusually low

He watched me sit with him and play like this for a half hour. Pic 2 is how he looked when I stopped

Before this he was sitting with his head out for a bit looking around. He started going back to bed in his cave under his rock then turned around when I called him. I offered a hand to see if he wanted to come out - which he usually does either when he's bored or has to poop. Or both. But he wasn't in the mood. So I just sat with him practicing and he watched very intently for about a half hour until I took a prolonged break and he got bored
