i just bought this beauty off of someone from fb marketplace that took great care of it but when i finally turned it on, i hear the rotor but then it displays “-E” on the front, is it because i haven’t connected the receiver to it yet?? i don’t feel like that’s the case

I just got this off of fb marketplace today and it’s displaying this on it. when i turn it on it sounds like something is spinning but nothings happening. i’m not sure how what to do i don’t want to troubleshoot and break something. Also i’m waiting to get the cords to connect everything to the receiver so is that the possibility of why it won’t “read”
