Bought system, doesn't work anymore. Start over?
Hi all,
I purchased a complete system a couple years ago that worked fine. It sat unplugged for a couple years, and now there's no output.
The pi (rpi 3b) shows power on light but no CPU activity. I tried reseating the SD card, turned it back on and saw a huge list of errors, then nothing else even after power and card resets.
Pretty sure the SD card is corrupted. I tried plugging it into my computer, it shows that an SD card is there but windows says I need to format it before I can see anything else, which I'd rather not do since I'd lose the games on there and I'm also not too knowledgeable about this stuff.
Is there anything I can do to fix this card without reformatting? Any tips would be appreciated, my kid is now old enough for us to play together. If I have to reformat I will, but I'd need help with that too.
P. S. I purchased the system from retro gaming house, im sure they're now out of business due to their website being full of ads/spam and not responding to emails.
