Feels different this year.
I am sure I am not the only person that feels this way but this year seems different.
They first got a head coach that is not a cast off re do or unproven scheme but someone that has moved up the ladder in the NFL and other teams were going to take him.
Our free agency has been deliberate a solid center to start.
Other pieces added not over paying for weak Talent . Getting a veteran qb that another team is on the hook for a portion of his pay this year.
The qb selected first overall well he is the exact opposite of the last qb we drafted in the 1st round. JaMarcus Russell held out Fernando showed up in the building the next day. JaMarcus lied about looking at plays or play book Fernando has been working with the qb coach. JaMarcus was a party kinda guy Fernando is all business and family. JaMarcus once drafted seemed like he was fat and happy [literally and figuratively ] Fernando seems like he is not satisfied with just being another qb in the league but he has winning that elusive Lombardi trophy.
You get where I am going.
Further more we absolutely got a dog in the forth barring further injury. The rest of the draft looks pretty solid both this year and last year. Remember last year we got WR
Will this translate to success only time will tell.
My hopes are high for 2026 and beyond.
