BOA Unlimited Cash Back + platinum bonus = 3.5% CB?
From Bank of America, standard 1.5% cash back with 0.5% extra for a year, to total 2% cash back. Platinum status members ($100k in accounts at BOA and Merrill combined) earn a 75% bonus reward, which makes the 1.5% CB a very attractive 2.625% CB (and I've been using that for years) but this is an absolute game changer as Platinum bumps 2% to a whopping 3.5% CB. And unlimited? That's significantly more than the processing fees on pretty much any payment system out there.
What am I missing?
- Earn unlimited 2% cash back for the first year on all purchases
- $200 online cash rewards bonus if you make at least $1,000 in purchases in the first 90 days of account opening
- Select your card design option when you apply – the Unlimited Cash Rewards design, or the limited-time FIFA World Cup 2026™ design
- No limit to the amount of cash back you can earn and cash rewards don't expire as long as your account remains open.
- No annual fee^(†)
