I analyzed 29 sessions on my landing page. 20 people read every single word and still didn't sign up. Here's the psychology behind why.

I built a tool, drove traffic, watched session recordings for hours.

People were engaged. Long sessions. Scrolling to the bottom. Reading everything.

Zero conversions.

I thought I knew why. Wrong CTA copy maybe. Price too high. No trust.

I was wrong about all of it.

So I ran my own landing page through WhyGoAI, a tool I built that reads visitor psychology from session recordings.

Here is what actually came back.

20 out of 29 visitors hit the same invisible wall. They weren't leaving because of price. They weren't scared to sign up. They were confused about HOW the product worked. They needed proof before they would click anything.

WhyGoAI flagged it as confusion psychology. Visitors who are interested but not yet convinced. They scroll everything, visit Privacy Policy, read Terms. Searching for any signal that this thing is real.

The fix had nothing to do with what I assumed. It was about showing proof of the AI output directly in the hero instead of describing it. Concrete beats abstract every time.

Conversion rate went from near zero to 10% after fixing it.

Session recordings show you what people did. WhyGoAI told me why. That gap is where most landing pages die.

I drove traffic to my landing page for weeks. 97% left without converting. Here is what I learned.

I was getting visitors. Just no conversions. I had session recordings but even after watching I still had to guess.

Behavior tells you what happened. Not why. So I built AI to find the why.

After analyzing 29 real sessions on my own landing page here is what was actually killing conversions:

- Commitment fear near the CTA

- Vague value proposition above the fold

- 3 competing CTAs causing decision paralysis Things I would have never spotted just by watching recordings.

Fixed all 3 before launch. Ended up with 14% signup conversion on launch day. Average SaaS landing page converts at 2-5%. The real insight: most founders fix the wrong things because they see behavior but never understand psychology. Happy to answer any questions.

We just launched on Product Hunt — AI that tells you exactly why your landing page visitors leave

Most landing pages convert at 2-3%. 97% of visitors leave without doing anything. And most founders have no idea why.

We built WhyGoAI to answer that question automatically.

Install one line of code on your landing page.

AI records every visitor session and tells you:

→ The exact psychological reason they left

(confusion, price shock, trust friction, commitment fear)

→ Which UX problem blocked them

(missing info, wrong message, confusing navigation)

→ The exact fix — BEFORE → AFTER, not vague advice

→ Daily report with patterns across all sessions

No watching hours of recordings.

No guessing.

Just wake up to exactly what's broken and how to fix it.

We're live on Product Hunt today if you want to check it out.

Free plan available, installs in 30 seconds.

Happy to answer any questions about how it works 👇

I built something called WhyGoAI that tracks visitors, records their sessions as videos, and uses AI to explain why they don’t convert.

You can:

Record full visitor sessions (clicks, scrolls, navigation) as a replayable video

Define your own conversion goals (URL visit, button click, etc.)

Analyze each session with AI to understand why a user left or didn’t convert

Get clear explanations + suggested fixes based on real behavior

The idea is to stop guessing from analytics and actually see + understand what users are doing.

I just launched it, so I don’t have case studies yet.

I’m looking for a few people willing to try it and tell me honestly:

if the analysis is useful

if the insights make sense

what feels useless or confusing

You can try it here: https://whygoai.pro/
