I am going to Edinburgh next week with my wife and we are going to take a day trip to Glasgow. I've been looking on ScotRail and seen that they do an anytime day return ticket. As I rarely use trains, I wanted to know how the return would work? Do we just go to the train station when we want to go home and use the ticket or do we need to pre-book a time for return?
