I can't seem to figure out which is a better way to use the mark. It seems there are two ways to essentially use it:

A) Keep spamming the active so that it generally triggers with only a single mark. Which seems bad but it means I can much more quickly apply a mark again.

B) Basically never use the active and try to build up as many marks as possible until it auto triggers. The advantage is more marks equal more damage but I'm also hitting them many times without being able to put another mark on them.

Is this a solved problem or do people play this differently?
