Hi, I'm a Y12 doing Edexcel lit and I'm just starting coursework. My question is 'Compare the extent to which oppression is shaped through gender-based power structures' and I'm comparing Alderman's 'The Power' and Atwood's 'The Handmaid's Tale'. I've written a basic intro which I need to add critics and context to, and my teacher said it's very strong, so to aim for top marks I should include a critic in my question. I basically have no idea how to find one though, because it'll take forever to look through articles to find a good one. I was wondering if anyone here doing their coursework has found a good critic while writing theirs that would work well for my question, or if not, in answering the question?

Hi, I'm in Y12 doing Edexcel History, and we've been told to start thinking about coursework ideas. I basically have no idea on what I want to do it on though, except that I'm not very interested in anything medieval, and ideally not WW2/Holocaust, though I'd be more open to this than medieval. What is everyone doing for their coursework, or do you guys have any ideas on what I could do for mine?
