Thinking of buying a used 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Hey everyone, first time posting here. I'd love some honest opinions from people who know more about cars than I do.

I found a 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid AT listed for 36.5 lakh. It's single owner, 24,000 kms driven, Toyota Certified, and the seller mentions 1% TCS and RC transfer charges extra. So realistically I'm looking at around 37-38 lakh all in.

A brand new 9th gen Camry is around 55 lakh on road right now. So this saves me about 17-18 lakh for a car that's barely been used. That feels like a solid deal to me but I could be wrong.

I currently own an MG Comet which works fine for city stuff, but I want something bigger and more comfortable for longer trips and also for days when I don't feel like driving and just want to sit in the back with a driver. The Camry's rear seat comfort and hybrid mileage seem perfect for that.

My main concern is whether buying the older 8th gen makes sense when the new one just launched, and whether the hybrid battery warranty transfers to a second owner.

I'm not chasing badges or sporty driving. Just want something comfortable, reliable, and cheap to run. If anyone here owns a Camry or has looked at one at this price range, I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts. Are there better options I should consider instead?

Thanks in advance!
