Echogear is Legrand AV
That's it, that's the title.
I have long been a Middle Atlantic guy, easily 99.9% of my rack installs have always been Middle Atlantic.
I am doing a restaurant overhaul tomorrow and the Customer was very budget minded and I needed a decent credenza rack. I didn't need a Wall mount rack by any means, and the MA racks just pushed this guy's budget a little too much.
I told him I could give him a used rack that was from another site takeout. It's been used in my workshop lab for a couple months now. it's a Middle Atlantic credenza rack, no shit piece by any means.
I took the opportunity to replace that credenza in my workshop and do a wall mount, I didn't need anything fancy, so I found Echogear on Amazon. I had seen some recommend it in this sub too. Decent price point, good powder coating finish, and it came with two vented shelves too.
lo and behold, I look at the white pages and right on the front it says "Echogear is a product of Legrand AV".
I've definitely found my budget rack option going forward for value engineered solutions. I'm pleasantly happy with the fit and finish and integrity of the rack so far. I would choose this over Startech each and every time.
I can post pics if anyone is interested.
