I’m begging for help - Hypoglycaemia
I can’t say enough words to express how desperate I am, please if you are a person with medical or experienced knowledge, please I beg you to read - please.
I’m 7 months postpartum, (my baby has slept all night from 4 weeks old - so I sleep well) I’ve been so unwell for 6 months I just need closure and direction.
Female - age 29 - I don’t smoke or drink, I’m on esomprezole
(These might not relevant, but just for context) Mybloods and vitals are normal, I was diagnosed with gastritis by endoscopy after treated for hy’plori (now negative), I have been dizzy, fatigue, feeling out of it, tinging fingers and toes and lips, blocked ears, swollen lymph’s, jawing pain on my left upper abdominal side radiating to back. Heart palpitations I eat every 2-3 hours avoiding large meals, I drink 2-3 litres of water, I have no spices or refined sugars (unless having a severe drop and no glucose tablets), I have been told I am all good because of my blood results but please understand I feel so weak I can’t leave the house, I get severe rapid blood sugar drops after having a shower. I am desperate for help, I just want to be able to spend time with my children and be able to play with them, please, please I am so desperate can anyone help.
I have had issue with blood sugars since I was a child but it was never too major and I have dealt with it quickly with eating some sweet and bam back to normal. Now for the last 8 days it’s out of control, my diet has never been better, I’ve removed all refined sugars, only water, as I say above frequent eating with great complex carbs, proteins, fats, veg and non citrus fruits. What more can I do, they keep saying it’s ‘normal’ I’ve collapsed twice at 2.7mmol, I spent 2 days in hospital and they said ‘some women just get lows’ but this is a sudden changes. I bought a cgm it’s been that bad. The cgm failed to pick 2 readings so I have had 4 drops today and they happened so quickly. I have zero warning and bam it’s so so quick (also my insulin came back at 3, and was told that low was very normal) but they now think that rules out insulinoma. It’s the fact this has happened so quickly and rapidly and even happens when I sleep, it went to 3.1mmol. Our hospital is so bad, I feel so lost and ignored.
Could this be from my pancreas or please any thoughts at all? My liver function is normal, I’m not diabetic
