Another server similar TurtleWoW
Hi, while looking at WoW Classic+ servers, I came across the Ascension server. It has several servers, and the most Classic+ one is set in the Burning Crusade era, the Bronzebeard server.
I joined, and the world isn't Classic; it's more like Retail. I saw that you can configure your difficulty, but there are a lot of options. I chose the last one, which says "Standard difficulty." I thought that by selecting this option, the game would be on Vanilla difficulty.
But I don't see that difficulty, because I'm already level 9 and have a lot of quests to do in Elwin Forest. The leveling is very, very fast, too fast for me. It's more similar to Retail than Classic, to be honest.
My question is, are there any options in the challenge settings that would bring the game closer to what Tortuga WoW or Classic was like?
Another problem I see is that if I select some of these challenges, they impose absurd restrictions, like not being able to loot, not being able to use the dungeon finder, and other worse things.
I don't know, is it possible to play on this server by doing something to make it as classic or Turtlewow-like as possible?
