Not a complaint - just a rant.

Booked a basic fare for me and my flying companion. No add ons, no bags, no paid for seat selections. Totally get it.

What’s a little annoying is that when our seats were randomly selected, we are sitting quite far apart from each other on the plane. Middle seats, in fact. The flight is far from sold out, plenty of open seats available, and I was actually assigned a middle seat with the aisle and window both open in the same row.

Not the end of the world, and perhaps we can play some musical chairs when we get on the plane, but a bit annoying that we weren’t seated together given the circumstances. Next time I’ll book a standard fare I suppose :D
