Since no one wrote it out, for all the stragglers on here, the next book club meet up is 5/31 at Brookside Market Cafe. The book we voted on is 'Loot' by Tania James. Please do not PM me with any questions. Feel free to comment below. We are happy to have anyone and everyone show up even if you haven't had a chance to finish the book.

Hi all. The book club meet up for tomorrow has been changed to noon to avoid the inclement weather. Same location.
Hi all,
I've gotten several private messages on here asking to join on WhatsApp. There was a discussion and if you'd like to be a part of the group please come to one in person meet up and then we can add you. We are just looking to avoid adding someone who may not be who they say they are.
The next meet up is Sunday.
Our January read will be The Expert of Subtle Revisions by Kirsten Menger-Anderson!
Just a reminder that we will meet Sunday January 18th at 2 PM at Alewife, 41-11 39th St Sunnyside, NY 11104. This is your invitation to join us.
Our February read is tied between The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See and A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara.
A poll is currently out for the February reading. Which will be decided on WhatsApp at noon today and I'll post it here.
Just a reminder that if you want to be part of the discussion on what books to read each month you should join us at the in person book club.
For regular discussion please PM me to be added on WhatsApp. This is virtually a ghost town on here lol.
Hi all,
A few new rules to list:
Two new rules! This month we’re going to vote for January and February books, and in the future we’ll pick books two months ahead. This will give people more time to get the books and read them.
Second rule: Those who attend the gathering get to suggest the (two months ahead) next book, but everyone in book club gets to vote on it. We’ll favor the suggestions of those who haven’t repped a book yet.
The next meeting for the book club is Sunday, January 18th at 2 PM at Alewife 41-11 39th st, Sunnyside, NY. If you are in the WhatsApp a poll is up to vote for the next two books for January and February. I'll post on here the outcome when the results are up.
