Is it legal for retailers (like Computech) to sell products at a price higher than what's listed as MRP on the box?

I ordered a SATA SSD from Computech store for 6099 INR (MSI Spatium), and it arrived promptly. Working fine as well.

However, I noticed that the box says the import date is May 2025, and the MRP is 4999.

I messaged the store owner on Whatsapp asking why this is, and he said he would check the issue. Till then, it has been radio silence for 2 days.

As far as I know, a retailer can not sell a product to a customer for a price that's above the box MRP.

I'm just posting this here to ask if I should pursue and follow up on this, or just let it go.

Probably my last gpu upgrade, so went big (for my wallet) this time...

Have a bucket load of backlog games to play, so decided to bite the bullet and grab this Asrock Challenger model for 58799 INR (~630 usd after taxes).

My RX 6650xt was struggling at this resolution(1440p), so I am hoping for a sizable jump, even with my old AM4 system.

Btw, I can't tell if I got lucky with Samsung VRAM on my unit, as the temps still touch 89-90 degrees on Heaven benchmark. Will have to check temps while gaming, though.

Another question - did you guys get any confirmation from AMD after filling out the form for the Crimson Desert gaming bundle promo?

I filled out everything and submitted it, but there's been no acknowledgment from AMD yet.
