Need solutions. Dead motherboard
My G15 ga503rm motherboard went dead after my technician did some thermal repaste and cleared the dirt from the fans and heat sync.He couldn't take responsibility for the fault. Another engineer said he could fix it because the short came from some capacitors, but he also failed. He said I could buy another motherboard or, better still, buy another laptop. The price of the motherboard is quite high and I don't want to downgrade to lesser specs.The price range of laptops that matches this performance are insane now because of the forex.I have met with some engineers who claimed to be board specialists so should I just give up on the laptop or keep trying the repairs ? Also the only option for getting another board is Aliexpress based on my location. Can their product be trusted as I cant gamble on quality when the price is costly. The laptop would be on its 4th year though.
