I scheduled the surgery date with my doctor two months ago. I have done all of my steps I was supposed to do with the nutritionist appointments every month. I have just started my liquid diet today. My doctor's office called me today and told me they got to denial for the surgery now. Also my insurance is refusing to give them a denial letter which is weird and I don't see anything in my insurance account that shows a denial so it's confusing. I guess this all just happened so it's probably why. I was under the impression it was approved already. They are submitting an appeal. I'm so upset. I just wanted to tell someone I suppose. I hope I get to have my surgery on the 26th. And I hope the next two weeks of me starving isn't for nothing.
