im coming from a data science undergrad at ut austin with a double minor in cs and applied statistical modeling in 3 years. got really into sql when learning about it in my freshman intro to data science class. i took a data engineering course that next semester and loved it.

i was really keen on persuing it as a career but no other classes in my major offered it so i kind of stagnated

in the meantime, i got interested in ml and took 2-3 classes throughout the rest of undergrad.

however, with this job market im not sure where to go next. i have one intership doing devops adjacent work.

any guidance or advice would be much appreciated, i was admitted into omsa and omscs.
