Hello i have a question. i have a horrible fear of the dentist so much so its causing me current physical distress i am not proud to say i haven’t been in 2 years i have a erupted wisdom tooth that has a cavity and is now infected my gums and jaw hurt i know i need to be seen asap how does the local anesthesia work in the back of the mouth does your tongue go numb? Does it make you feel gaggy? I am more terrified of gagging then anything i hate it i need to get this done but i just can’t im so uncomfortable i refuse to get put under due to the fact my ocd won’t let me anyone who had local anesthetic please chime in im scared if i dont do this soon ill die from sepsis and i cant fathom that
