There is something that feels a bit off for me, so maybe someone can help.

In the game mechanics, when you are level 2, you can choose an order First Ideal. You do not speak the words but you gain Investiture, Breathe Stormlight etc. You now start to work towards Speaking the Words.

Then, later, when you Speak the Words, you gain access to Surges.

This transition seems not natural to me. In the books (IIRC), Kaladin is unable to reliably use Stormlight until he Speaks the Words. When he does it, he gains complete conscioussness of the ability to Breathe stormlight + surges.

All this to say that to me, it feels more natural this way:

-Level 1: player starts attracting a Spren, who encourages the player to keep doing things relates to the order's philosophy. So speak the words is a"hidden goal".

- When at level 2, and when you've done enough actions to fullfil the hidden goal, you bond the spren by Speaking the Words, and now players gain access to investiture, and access to surges at the same time.

I wanted to share my experience today at Epic, having EPA (via the tickets bought in Park Prodigy, I was staying in an off-site hotel).

TLDR: Arrived at 7h45, I think it was ideal. Started with Nintendo, it was the right thing to do. Watching the video of the shortcut to be the first is a good advice.

7h44 - Arrived to Epic using Lyft, drop-off easy as there is only one possible place.

7h47 - Reached the PRE-PARK gate, 30 people or so. why Pre-Park? Because this door is for the people arriving via Bus / Ride apps. There was another group coming from the Valet Parking that was much bigger than ours (several hundreds). We do not see the groups until this pre-park door opens and we merge with them.

So, at this point, you are waiting at the Pre-Park door.

7h58 - Pre-park door opens, and a security guy ensures no one runs or whatever. Everyone walking behind him. We merged with the group from the Valet parking (that also had his own security guy) around 100m before security. At this point they release people and we all start to walk quickly (again, not running) to choose a line for security. On our side, we chose one line on the left side as we were heading Nintendo (Mine-cart madness).

8.02 - Arrived at security. We managed to find a lane with only 6 people. 5 min later, I saw that several thousands of people were spread through all security lines.

8.17 - Security passed, time to wait for ticket scan which is right after. It is actually the continuation of the lecurity line. Only 10 people or so pass the security, as there is almost no space between security check and ticket scan.

8.29 - Start of tickets scanning. As we were almost first in our line, we entered the park. Start to walk quickly but no need to run, as people was still going through security. We reach the Nintendo portal, but at this point we are stopped (not in front of the portal, but on the alley heading to the plaza where the portal is. For reference, see 2:17 of the shortcut video). Here, there were 3 lanes. As we were almost the first, we positioned ourselves in the lane of the middle ,where there were only 5 people. All people tend to go to the left lane (dunno why), but the advice is to pick the lane with least people.

While waiting, the staff explained about the trick of entering Nintendo via the exit to avoid the escalator. I had already watched a video the previous night to avoid any mistakes, so I was already aware of that. See link below.

And hear me out: ALL the people in front of us took the wrong direction, as staff told us to go right after crossing the exit. There is a false "right" that can fool you. Everybody was fooled except us.

So:

8.50 - The 3 lanes opened. We took the shortcut (we run a bit, but nothing crazy), avoiding being fooled, and arrived first at DK mine cart madness. 8h58 we were sitting on the cart, and 9h03 we were done.

9.05 - Arrived at Mario Kart, no waiting as everybody was at DK. 9h25 we were out (0 waiting, but again it takes time to walk the whole castle.

From here, the day was already a success.

We headed to Hiccups (no waiting), and when we were done it was 9h50.

9h50 - After Hiccups , the park was opening for non-EPA visitors (9h50). We entered Stardust racers, no waiting.

10h25 - Entered Harry Potter with 90 minutes of posted waiting (the least in the whole day. By the way, the attraction opened at 9h30, so all people using EPA for Harry Potter, EPA was a bit wasted IMO). In practice, we waited 110 min.

With all the big ones done in the morning, the afternoon was for shows (do not sleep on the Arcanus cirque, it is incredible) and other attractions.

We closed the day repeating stardust and Hiccups, as they had 0 wait.

Note: Mine cart madness was closed from 1.30pm approx, and Mario Kart in and out for the whole afternoon. But this is more a coin toss than anything else. Sorry for those that were not able to make it.
