First of all, Trump makes a 14,000 round trip to China, and when he arrives, he is greeting by the Vice President of China, not by Xi. That was Slap in the face #1.

Secondly, in the big speech by Xi when the summit wrapped, he referred to the Thucydides Trap. Essentially saying he hoped we would avoid that. The Thucydides Trap is a reference to the situation when a nation in decline attacks a rising nation. The Implication is that the US is the declining nation and China is the rising nation. That was Slap in face #2.

Thirdly, Xi also warned Trump that the US needs to mind their own business regarding the China/Taiwan conflict.

Trump didn’t get either of the two insults and was embarrassingly differential. He even appears willing to throw Taiwan under the bus, holding back the arms sale to Taiwan that has already been approved by Congress.

Trump ——- disrespecting our allies, and at the same time kissing the asses of Putin and Xi while they laugh behind his back.

The Straight of Hormuz needs to be 100% open or 100% closed. It should be open to all as an International seaway, or no one goes through. Full stop. Iran should not be allowed to control this waterway in any way. They also should not be allowed to cherry pick who gets through. More short term pain, but I don’t know any other way to move forward to potentially solve this problem.

TSA Agents are not highly paid. They deserve to be paid for their work. Democrats are holding back approval to pay for border agents because they want ICE to be required to wear body cameras and not break into people’s houses without a warrant. I don’t think that is too much to ask.

Democrats have introduced and voted for legislation to pay TSA agents. Use the bloated funds available in the ICE budget to pay for it. Republicans are the reason airport security is backed up. TSA agents deserve to be paid. They have families and bills to pay like everyone else and deserve to be paid. Stop holding our airports and traveling public hostage.
