incoming 1st year student po me this year. nag-apply ako sa mga univs, dalawa galing sa big 4, isang private uni, at tsaka pup. unfortunately, di po ako pumasa dun sa dalawang schools sa big 4, and yung isa don is dream school ko as in simula pa nung elem ako nakatatak na sa isip ko na dun ako mag-aaral.
simula nung bumagsak ako sa dream univ ko parang nawala lahat ng diskarte ko. may back-up school naman ako (which is ung private university) and kala ko secured na’ko sa college. dati iniisip ko na kakayanin naman namin kung magtitipid ako kaso habang tumatagal, na-gguilty ako lalo na sa parents ko dahil unang-una, napakamahal ng tuition fee. eh kahit maganda naman ang reputation ng school na yon, almost 100k ang tuition per sem. masyadong mabigat.
we’re a middle class family, kakayanin naman daw, kaso “KAKAYANIN,” hindi “KAYA NATIN.” which is sobrang nakakaguilty kasi ayoko maging pabigat lalo’t na napakahirap ng kukunin kong program. e pano kung bumagsak ako don sa school na yon? edi sayang lang ung inubos na pera para sakin.
ang daming nagsasabing “rejection is redirection,” e panong mareredirect kung di naman kakayanin ang direction na napupunta sakin.
hahahaha Lord wag mo naman kaming pahirapan. ang tanging pag-asa ko nalang talaga ay pup.

hello! im an incoming 1st year student at san beda mendiola and im wondering if nagma-matter po ba yung undergrad school in passing the ALS? planning to pursue law (if ever?? hopefully 😭) if i graduate and pass the cpale in the future.

hi guys! for context, i just failed the ustet last April 28 (yes i did cry Imao) pero nag-email ako agad sa ust-amv and they replied immediately. binigyan nila ako ng gform link and nag fill-up ako agad.
the thing is that, i failed the mental ability and math subtest. sa math, i got 68, BUT i saw some ppl sa fo na they're qualified sa math subtest with a score of 70.
also, i've watched videos on tiktok abt recon and they said na gr 12 grades matter daw. the good thing is that sa major subjects ko, nag rrange ung grade ko from 96-98.
basing from my situation, may pag-asa pa po ba na ma-recon? i REAAALLY REALLY REALLY want to study sa ust especially sa amv even though i heard a lot of stories na sobrang hirap don (which i really dont mind kasi lahat naman ng courses ay mahirap lol)

not passing the entrance exam of my dream school is one of the most humbling experience i could ever have. medyo oa, but since when i was little, gustong gusto ko talaga makapag-aral sa ust. nung nag entrance exam ako sa main campus, grabeee, na-fefeel ko talagang dun na’ko mag-aaral. pero lumabas na ung results kanina, and bumungad agad agad yung color REEEDDDD na “did not meet cut off score/s.”
i feel like a bad person rn kasi tuwing makakakita ako ng nakapasa sa priority program ko naiinis ako na naiinggit. ginawa ko naman lahat ng nakakakaya ko pero hindi pa rin ako pinalad. whahahahaha
hindi ko talaga maiwasan yung pagka-feel ko ng envy. they kept saying “rejection is redirection” but let’s be real. nireject na’ko ng UP, nireject pa’ko ng UST. nakapasa man ako sa state university, hindi pa yung gusto ko na program. although may back-up school naman na ako which is San Beda.
gusto yata ni lord na pagbayarin ung family ko ng milyones para lang makapagtapos 💀
