I see a bunch on maps, but its always hit or miss when calling for trailer repairs. So if anyone knows who to call in this area, listed below, please let me know as most everything is closed already so I can't call till tomorrow and would like to be able to get right to the right place and not waste time haha. Thank you
I'm at the loves parked for the night in tonkawa, Oklahoma off highway 35 north. Im headed north to 70 west for Colorado Springs. Got a crack in the weld of my rear most outside passenger side trailer wheel. Pretty dang sure this would be an unsafe driving condition haha. So hoping to be close to someone but looks like everything is in Wichita. Which leads to my next question.
Would you drive the roughly 75 miles there for repair or call a mobile guy?
I would throw my spare on but the one provided by a previous repair shop is apparently the wrong bolt pattern (lesson learned, double check before leaving places...)
ETA: Sorry everyone that doesn't like this post. I assure you its not a shitpost, or anything disingenuous. Im somewhere on the spectrum and enjoy others input when I have ideas. Regardless of that input I am still doing this, and am headed to get some patches today 😁.
First I just want to say i know there are no rules, but id still like your thoughts.
Back in 2007 to 2012 ish I was still wearing my punk clothing (vest, tight pants, docs, band tees, etc...), but started transitioning out of those clothes as I ended up working in hvac. Over the years I became comfortable in my work clothes. My current style, that is unlikely to change at this point, is simple work clothing. Clothes like basic wrangler blue jeans, wrangler button down shirts with an undershirt, Indiana Jones style hat, regular work boots.
I have since transitioned into a new field as an OTR Hotshot Trucker, and I no longer have to dress accordingly to appease some boss. However, I am comfortable in these clothes now and dont have the desire to fully change back to what I used to wear.
So my thought right now is patching up all of my current clothes that are becoming very tattered haha.
In general I view myself as looking like somewhat of a lumberjack or woodsman type person, as I wish to live in that environment, and my build, hair, and beard kinda help me look like that 😅 (also some of my button down shirts are long sleeve plaid shirts.
So what do you all think of that type of aesthetic blended with punk and what would you call it? Personally I think it'll look good, and prompt conversation at truck stops for this lonely trucker (perhaps help spread the ideas of anarchy), and im currently thinking it would be something like lumber punk, or woodsman punk, or wunk haha.
What do you all think?
Thanks for taking the time to read and share your thoughts. Im on the spectrum and dont like to do anything without talking to others first.
