Need help with furniture layout

Looking suggestions between the two options (or a better option not shown). Thank you!
Note: Looking to purchase a new media unit that is minimalistic and airy.
Option 1 (TV further from sofa across room):
Pros: Open concept. More space. Better for socializing. A bit nicer view from entrance.
Cons: TV viewing is less ideal (14ft away) and on a bit of an angle - worse is from the chair with the supporting beam nearly blocking the left side of the TV. TV and media unit beside piano may look crowded and awkward. Less areas to put a potential storage unit for blankets/media etc.
Option 2 (TV close to sofa):
Pros: TV viewing experience is more immersive and overall better (less distractions from piano and beam). Fireplace looks a bit more appropriate since now you can actually see it when seated.
Cons: Less open concept. Worse for socializing. Sections off the room into two kind of (neutral). More crowded in right side of room and near breakfast bar.
