Blackmailed by a minor using my stolen private photos. My university is blaming me and threatening expulsion.
Hi everyone. I need urgent legal advice. I am a female college student in my 20s, currently done with my required OJT (internship). The aggressor is a minor at my OJT deployment site.
The Facts:
The minor bypassed my phone passcode, stole a highly sensitive photo I sent to my boyfriend, and forwarded it to himself.
He blackmailed me: he demanded I act "sweet" and pretend we were a couple, or he would leak the photo to my family, university, and workplace.
Terrified of losing my degree and the shame, I went into survival mode and complied. I was too scared to report it. This extortion went on for months, leading to severe stalking, a mental health crisis, and a recent suicide attempt on my end.
I know it was too late. And I already blamed myself for not speaking up. : ((
The student already confessed that he blackmailed me and kept on harassing me multiple times. He's young but he really is taller and has more force than me.
Fair po ba if ma-expelled ako sa university? : (
