I was handed an incident report where it said something like “he did this and she did something back” and I told my coworker they can’t have identifying pronouns. So I crossed it out and was gonna have her rewrite it. (She’s new to the field so I thought it was a teaching moment). She informed me after I crossed it out that my boss had wrote the report… so I kindly asked my boss to rewrite it as I was under the impression the report had to be non-bias. I’m now wondering if I caused a fuss for no reason?
