Looking for a group? We've got you!

Looking for a group? We've got you!

Hey 2030 batch!

We saw that post asking for a group where you all could connect and discuss. So we made one. Actually, we made two.

We've been in your shoes - preparing for SST, waiting for results, getting that offer letter, wondering what comes next. We remember the questions, the nervousness, the excitement... all of it.

That's why we created a community space just for the 2030 batch.

🎯 2030 Aspirants - If you're still preparing or waiting to hear back, this is your space. Share your interview stories, swap prep tips, ask for advice, celebrate when good news comes. Basically, a crew of people going through exactly what you're going through.

🎯 2030 Offer Letter Holders - Got your offer? Welcome! Meet the people you'll be working with, get your doubts cleared about onboarding, ask the questions you've been holding back, and start building friendships before day one.

Here's what you can do:

  • Clear your doubts - No question is too small. Ask about interviews, onboarding, what to expect, anything really
  • Meet your peers - Connect with your batch mates and build friendships that last
  • Share your stories - Talk about your prep journey, interview experiences, celebrate wins together
  • Report issues - Facing any challenges? Let us know and we'll support you
  • Get real advice - Learn from people already on the SST journey. No sugar-coating, just honest talk
  • Stay updated - Get batch announcements and updates as they happen
  • Have fun - Share memes, celebrate together, bond as a batch

We just wanted to create a space where you don't feel alone. Where you can be real, ask anything, and connect with people who actually get what you're going through.

Scan the QR code below and join us. We're excited to have you! 🚀

See you there!

I feel this was my right decision

If you feel like you deserved a better college but messed up JEE because of burnout, bad strategy, health issues, or just one bad year, you're not alone. If it was your drop year and it didn't go as planned. Don't get demotivated.

Last year, even though I was in your position, where I messed up both my attempts, I thought that I wouldn't get into a good college, and I used to get thoughts as everything ended. But then i tried to score well in other exams , and filled out exams like BITSAT , VIT etc . Got 250 marks in BITSAT , 5k rank in VIT, but stil wasnt getting my dream branch and clg So my friend said that lets try for Scaler School of Technology. As the entrance test of SST (NSET) had only maths and aptitude, I filled the form, cleared the interviews, and i had the offer letter with a scholarship.

And this was the period when i was confused whether to choose Bits, Vit or State college or SST. But after counseling with my cousins, seniors nd seeing the recession in the job market. Most of the ppl said that seeing the curriculum, instructors, and peers at SST, they made me prioritise Scaler over other Colleges.

So i visited the college, met with instructors, students, and understood their curriculum. Since my father is a Software Engineer, he said that this is a very good curriculum seeing the job market trend, and the future. So i need not have to struggle to convince my parents. But if parents have doubts, they can contact their assigned PAs after they get the offer letter.

So overall i would like to say that dont get demotivated, think that maybe god has other plans for you. And now if I ask my friends who are at traditional colleges like IITs, NITs, and others, they are lacking many things, like participating in the very first hackathon in the first month itself, to shipping usable projects.I feel that i was lucky to have such mentors and counselors who guided me and supported me to choose SST.

Since i dont want u guys to make a wrong decision, feel free to seek for queries or guidance. And If you are considering SST and havent registered for NSET (Entrance Exam) and are planning to register for the NSET exam, you can use the refer code DEEP6F37, which gives ₹500 off on the registration fee.

If you're someone exploring college options or considering SST as an option or backup, feel free to ask questions, and I'll try to answer based on my experience.

Are you still thinking what to choose IIT Madras or BITS Pilani? Let me clear it for u

I am a first yr student at SST and this was the topic that i was confused weather to choose IIT Madras or Bits pilani for Parallel degree . So i dont want u guys to be in confusion on this topic so both the degrees have their pros and cons

Starting with IIT Madras( Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons.) in Computer Science) :
Pros : IIT Brand Name And Tag is which that most people flow away for , cheaper than Bits Pilani and also Financial benefits can be claimed
Cons : U have to spend time to study , do assignments, , prepare for exam and go to exam centres like TCS ION ones

Bits Pilani (Bachelor of Science (BS) in Data Science and Applications) :
Pros : No husting to study or go to exam centre to write exam , u can give the exam online as well as offline
Cons : Higher Price than IIT Madras and no financial benefits

My Take : I chose Bits Pilani over IIT Madras due to the travelling reason and also the time that i would give for the IIT assignemnts and preparation for exam can be invested to learn something of our curriculum or explore something .

This is completely upto u weather to choose IIT Madras or BITS Pilani.

If You are planning to register for the NSET exam, you can also use the refer code DEEP6F37 which gives ₹500 off on the registration fee.

If you're someone exploring college options or considering SST as an option or backup, feel free to ask questions and I'll try to answer based on my experience.
