Is the same uniform part of the player on defense?

Situation-

Kid runs for the ball making a sliding catch. Ball hits his glove and pops out, rolls down the kids stomach onto his untucked shirt which is on the grass, but the ball does not touch the grass until the players barehand goes to pick it up. Kid laid there like that for a good 6 seconds (we thought he was hurt) before he picks up the ball.

Is it a catch?

Playoff game hits the 2:30 drop dead mark with visiting team up 5 and reverts to last inning, when the score was tied. What happens then?

They decided to play on and home team got the final out at 2:33.

I’m just curious how it officially works.

Thanks

Last inning. Bases loaded. 2 outs. Down by 4.

Our last batter comes up, other coach calls the IW.

Regular season over.

Not like we had a realistic chance of winning, just sad to see an 8 year old lose an at bat in that “dream situation” for a coaches ego. Sends the wrong message to his kids to IMO.

Little League

Situation: runner on third tries to steal home on passed ball. Catcher gets the ball; collides with the batter in the batters box who has not moved and was seemingly oblivious to anything going on , catcher tags the runner before runner touches plate.

Runner from third hits is called out.

Batter in the box is called out for interference.

Is this correct?
